Jitney was my father's nickname as a boy. A jitney was a bus that cost five cents to ride. It also became a term for nickel, which is our family name. I love quilting, but "Nickel Quilts" is already in use.
I am much better at thinking and dreaming about quilts and getting them started than completing them. It is the quilting part that is my biggest hang up. I will not say how many UFO's, WIP's, and PIG's I have. Actually, I haven't had the nerve to count them. I did complete a few this past year, but I add as many to the total with new starts and purchases. I will post my finished quilts at a later date. I just wanted to get started today
